This class will challenge dancers to refine their modern dance technique while exploring both contemporary and jazz-based movement. It emphasizes versatility, expressive storytelling, and the fusion of styles to prepare dancers for stage and competition.
Class Structure & Lesson Intentions:
Strength & Conditioning: Build endurance, flexibility, and grounded power.
Modern Technique: Leaps, turns, floor work, and stylized movement.
Choreography & Performance: Focus on emotional connection and storytelling through movement.
Stylistic Exploration: Incorporate both contemporary and jazz influences.
